Pyne Gould Corporation, which owns Marac Finance, has announced plans to raise NZ$237 million through a fully underwritten rights issue. The issue will be fully underwritten by First NZ Capital Securities and will allow all eligible shareholders to subscribe for six new shares for every one held, at 40 cents per share. On top of the rights issue, PGC said it would look to raise up to a further NZ$33 million through a non-underwritten placement and a share holder plan, bringing the total raising to as much as NZ$270 million.
