The prosecutors’ closing arguments created a sensation at the trial: they called for the dissolution of the two organisations charged and convictions for the individual defendants. After the lawyers for the plaintiffs had spoken, it was the turn of the prosecutors. It was most likely the prospect of their closing presentation that had attracted most of the observers to the court that day.

The internet is a great place to earn millions. Affiliate marketing is so famous among many simply because of this reason. Unfortunately there are affiliates who carry out different marketing campaigns without a proper affiliate marketing strategy . The problem arises mostly with novice affiliates who are not aware of the market. The moment they see that there is a great opportunity of being rich in a short span of time, most affiliates dive into their marketing campaigns without thinking twice.

I’m going to keep this post short and simple, here are 3 Twitter tips to help you get the most out of Twitter : 1. Keep your tweets less than 120 characters so they can be easily re-tweeted. This is one of my pet peeves, the inability to quickly retweet a great tweet. One of the ways your tweets can get sent around the Twitterverse is to have them re-tweeted by your followers. This is a great way for you to increase your following (& potential new clients), so keep your tweets under 120 characters! 2.

I did some reading this weekend. Read something interesting in The Economist about the U.S. economy: Consumption accounts for over 70% of American spending. Thus even if households do not go back to 1950s saving rates, their balance-sheet repairs will still weigh heavily on demand in the economy as a whole. An increase of five percentage points of saving would leave the economy with a $545 billion gap to fill. America’s housebuilding industry has left another hole.

I’ve just watched the brand new ad system from “Blogging to the Bank” millionaire Rob Benwell and his partner Steven Tenpenny. The system is Slide In Ad , and in a way, it’s similar to pop over ads and slide up ads. I’m asking myself the following question; is this system better, converts more sales and is less intrusive, than pop over ads and slide up ads? According to the sales page “you can increase your opt-ins and revenue over 274% within 6 minutes.” That’s probably true, but on the other hand, will people enjoy this new “in your face” advertisement? To be honest with you, obviously I’ve just been watching the ads for a short while, since it was launched earlier today.

Dachis Group announced a select group of alliance partners today, including Socialware . Both companies are based in Austin. You may have read that I recently joined the Dachis Group , and I promise that the blog won’t become a platform for our news. But I think it’s significant that with a handful of partners in the announcement, that an Austin startup (Socialware) is in the alliance along with other great companies such as IBM, SocialCast, CoTweet, and Atlassian.

If you are anything like me, you love E-Bay! At one point in my life, I was hooked on E-Bay. In fact, I was on a first name basis with the UPS carrier. I’ve bought brand new shoes, leather coats and even textbooks on E-Bay! My ten year old daughter even makes her way to the site every now and then to “check-out” the deals. But I’m not just an online shopper; I’ve even had some luck in unloading an item or two. It beats having a garage sale and hoping someone will show up.

  1. Are your facts straight? I am not trying to be a jerk, but I don’t see how this makes total sense!
