Are You Straddling The Fence Of Financial Freedom? ., Imagine, if you will, five carpenters building a house. These five carpenters each have their own tool belts and pouches full of nails. They are tasked with be building a magnificent house. They have their plans. The blue print is all laid out in front of them. But, for some reason no work is being done. Each of these carpenters is waiting on the other the get out their hammer and nails. Each carpenter remarks to himself, “Look at them. If they get out their hammer and nails then this house will be finished, but I am afraid to be the first one to start work. What if I mess it up? What if I start working and no one helps? What if no one else uses their tools and nails to help me? Maybe I better just watch and see what happens with the others…”
Of course one can guess what happens next. The magnificent house is never completed. In fact, it is doomed before construction is ever began. “We had the knowledge! We had the tools! We had the supplies! Why did it fail?” the carpenters may ask.
The answer to this question is all too easy to answer. The answer is, because no one acted. Each of the five carpenters waited on the other to start. They waited on the other to unroll the blueprint, to cut the first board, to hammer the first nail. The end result is that no one did anything, and the house was never built. The tools each of the carpenters rusted, and the supplies rotted.
“But what does this parable have to do with me?” you may ask.
Again the answer is all too easy to answer. If you are wanting to make more money, but have not started looking into how; or maybe you know how, but have not acted, then you too are just like one of those five carpenters. More people than care to admit have thought about financial freedom but have not tried to achieve it. Some of these people do not know how to achieve it and gave up before they even started. Sometimes they do not answer opportunity’s knock because they are too lazy. Sometimes they do not answer because they are afraid. They are afraid of failure, they are afraid of scams, they are afraid to be their own boss.
