But if you compare several article directories, you will see that most readers don’t even have a chance to finish reading the article due to amount of colorful ads. This makes the reader’s experience diluted.
The best authoring websites contain only text and do not allow posting images or videos like on a blog. Even more professional websites sort their submissions manually and others let visitors chose the best quality content and identify spammers.
But the key thing you have to look for is the quality link you can place there. If the no follow attribute is placed, people may clock on it, but it will still stay invisible to search engines. There are many restrictions to the amount of links and the place where these links can be posted, for example, only in the last paragraph of the article. Some websites can even place irrelevant links to your article.
But there is still a compromise you can find. Article directories have to take care of their reputation. What you should do is provide quality and valuable information and not just an irrelevant link. It can take a while to learn, but you should figure out what is worth posting and telling people about. You have to make sure you are telling a story that relates to your targeted market. You have to remember that if you have something worthwhile to offer people, they need to be pulled to it so that they could appreciate it.
There are complicated relationships between authors and websites with traffic and exposure online. Many people have been attracted by the idea that they could make income without putting enough effort into it, just by posting a couple of essays. But the truth is that success of website promotion is not going to come overnight. You have to be persistent and hardworking to build up your online presence and get plenty of traffic to your website. By creating one quality link at a time, you will expand your online exposure and get more followers every time. It only seems like a very tedious job, but if you like what you do, it will be easy for you to achieve.
