Baltimore Home Prices Keep Falling

The Baltimore median home sales price of a single-family home fell nine percent in the first three months of the year, the National Association of Realtors said yesterday.

The median price is now more than $245,000, down from more than $270,000 in the first quarter of 2008, NAR said in its report.
The area measured includes Baltimore City and Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Carroll, Howard, Harford and Queen Anne’s counties.

Nationally, median prices declined on a year-over-year basis in most metro areas, and the national median price plummeted 13.8 percent
