I faithfully do believe that it is better for your physical and mental health as well because you are not just sitting at a desk but actually moving around the houses and yards, getting in and out of your car and just plain being physically active. This may not seem like a benefit to you but I am not one to sit still for very long so I really enjoy this part.
The people you meet. Some of my closest friends have been people I have met simply by taking a call and going out and showing them a house. When you work with people showing them homes to buy or selling their present home you really get to know them in depth. You spend quite a bit of time talking and conversing on many subjects. Often your responsibility is in a teaching capacity to help them become educated about the market. You almost cannot help but become genuinely concerned that they make the right decisions. People can sense your sincerity and always appreciate it.
