1. Locate where they are

Locate where these bugs hiding in your house. I know you hate to see them and given the opportunity, you will kill every bug that you see. But wait and hold on! You need to follow the trail of these bugs and identify places that they hide. This is very important!

After you’ve identified their hiding place, seal that openings or gaps with a good quality caulk. By doing so, you will control the number of stink bugs by keeping and trapping them at their place. If the sealing is done properly and there is no other way out for these bugs, they will die eventually. This will keep the number of bugs in check.

2. Used sticky traps

Place these sticky traps in places where these bugs normally appear. If you know their hideouts, then place several of these sticky traps there. You need to check your sticky traps everyday to see if they are still working; a sticky trap full of bug will need to be replaced with new ones.

If you want to save some cost over the long-term, then you can try to find some industrial glue that can do the same job as a sticky trap. If you are not sure of the types of glue to be used, talk to your local hardware store people.

3) Dust treatment

If you want a quick and effective method to get rid of these bugs, then you should try dust treatment.

In this method, you have to engage a professional to apply the insecticide dust in cracks outside the wall of your house. After the job is done, your house should be bugs free for a few months. There is however no guarantee that these bugs will return a few months later.
