Attorney General Chris Koster will testify before the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee today on the increase in mortgage -rescue and debt-settlement fraud Missouri is experiencing during the downward economic times. I just watched the live feed of his testimony and hopefully his testimony will be made public. If you are running a debt settlement company in Missouri, it wasn’t pretty testimony. I’d suggest you get the hell out of Missouri.

Neighbors aren’t targets, or are they? Many churches have “started” or “grown” in the past 30 years by carefully studying marketers and doing demographic research determining their “target.” And yet targeting is a pretty scary notion in our neck of the ‘hood. In Georgia, it is estimated that 200-300 children are targeted for sexual exploitation a month, and our neighborhood includes two of the city’s primary hot-spots.  66% of the houses in our zip code were in foreclosure before the crash because elderly homeowners were targeted by mortgage fraud schemes.  Some wayward kids in our area who have learned how to hotwire GM cars are targeting GM and Chryslers to break into.

Responsible citizens of America are being made to pay for the foreclosure woes due to no fault of theirs. The federal government is forging ahead with plans to save the homeowners that are in trouble with loans touching $729,000. But this is raising some questions that are not usually focused on. The ordinary American generally never had anything to do with a mortgage loan touching seven hundred grand simply because they could not afford it.

As there is no help in tackling foreclosures , the number of foreclosure filings in California is rising. The residents require immediate help with regard to foreclosure . Foreclosure prevention experts need to help the people in overcoming this grave situation and work towards the betterment of the state. It has become a grave matter now. This crisis has spread to different cities and counties of California. As the people have little or no knowledge about stopping foreclosure, the residents of California are choosing to leave their homes.
