New Sony LCD Review

A stylish and reasonably priced 32″ Hi Def ready LCD TV . This contemporary looking television would suit any home   – with common features like a black glossy finish, intergrated speakers and Digital Freeview this TV has all that you would wish for from a  recent flat-screen .

The picture quality is fantastic , with Sony’s BRAVIA ENGINE technology and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels , the images are sharp and precise . Black levels are deeper than ever before and whites are far brighter – however, they can both be manipulated to match your specific requirements by using the contrast function for whites and the brightness function for blacks. Cinema mode is splendid for watching movies and can be easily accessed by pressing the orange button on the remote control labelled  “Theatre”. In fact, you are probably best off leaving it on this setting permanently . Pressing the “Scene” button gives you the benefit of 8 different viewing modes. Other settings are simple to use, but not all are essential .

There is also a Light Censor System to save energy and reduce your ever increasing electric bill, not to mention saving you from any unnecessary eye-strain.

The KDL32EX403 has a total of 4 HDMI port (two side, two rear), as well as a USB input , PC input and two scart connections at the back . Games consoles and other portable devices are simple to connect . It also has to ability to connect to the net or a computer network, offering you the advantage of being able to surf the net and choose what you like to watch .

The set up is simple to use and takes under ten minutes . Like the majority recent LCD televisions it comes with a stand – although unfortunately the stand does not have a swivel functionality . However, the screen automatically adjusts to its environment, meaning that whichever angle you choose to watch from the picture will still be of a very high standard.
The speakers are typically intergrated and well concealed . The audio performance has been enhanced and provides a crisp, full sound that will not disappoint. The Sony KDL32EX403

An extremely good Hi Def TV for a brilliant price. Finally there is an affordable LCD television available that not only competes but beats most Plasma’s of equal price.
