The Yakima Herald reports that Alison McWeeny, age 20 of Auburn , was injured in a boating accident on the Columbia River near Wanapum State park last Saturday. McWeeny was in a water ski boat with six other people when the boat overturned. McWeeny went under the boat and she suffered serious injuries to her leg.
