Either we can turn our air conditioner and allow the carpet to dry else proper ventilation also helps. Just open all the windows and let fresh air come in it will help in drying process. Heaters are not preferable as they cause lots of moisture in the room and moreover any negligence can cause fire accident. So the use of hot air blowers is widely advised. They blow the hot air in the room that helps in carpet drying without creating problem for other things that are there in the room.
