If you don’t work at home full time then an hour or two daily should be adequate to begin building your presence. If you can it would be a really good idea to take one of your days off and devote eight hours to internet marketing. This will be the day you really push out content and build at least a few hundred backlinks. Remember with internet marketing when you build backlinks ninety percent of the time the backlinks will not appear instantly. With directories it will take up to a year before you actually get the backlink and Google recognizes it and article directories can take up to a month before your article is published and Google finds the link within the resource. One thing you should take into account when creating your weekly schedule is reading and learning about new internet marketing techniques. If and when possible make sure that you also leave room for social exposure such as time on twitter, facebook, digg, and other social websites.
