Virtually every local and national government holds foreclosure auctions to sell off their supply of repossessed homes.
These auctions are held at various times so you will have to check with each government agency to find out when they are offered. Some auctions are held monthly, while others may have them on a quarterly, or even annually basis.

The most significant idea you should always keep in mind during the auction is to always have the intent of buying at cheap prices and not get caught up in a bidding war for any particular house.

If you are unsure, back out, and let someone else have it if they are willing to pay the escalating price.
