McDaniel College Department of Art and Art History presents an exhibit, Bill Schmidt: Recent Paintings and Drawings, September 30–October 24, on campus in the Esther Prangley Rice Gallery in Peterson Hall.

For information and gallery hours, call 410-857-2595. The exhibit is free and open to the public. An opening reception will be held 7-9 p.m. Sept. 30.

The exhibit represents the Baltimore artist’s return to his “roots as a painter,” inspired by his experience in June 2004 at the Alfred and Trafford Klots residency program in Rochefort-en-Terre, France.
