County foreclosure auction offers deals for bargain hunters, Erie County is offering a deal that some people might find hard to refuse: prime property that can be purchased for as little as the unpaid property taxes.
If you are looking to get into real estate, buy your piece of the American dream, or simply become an investor, Erie County might have a deal for you at the annual tax foreclosure sale set for Wednesday morning.
Residential property, commercial property, and industrial sites can be purchased for as little as the unpaid property taxes, and the county has compiled a list with more than 100 properties on the auction block.
The list includes an undeveloped lakefront lot on Lake Shore Road, in the Town of Hamburg, that could be yours if the price is right. The successful bidder has to cover the $103,000 in back taxes, plus costs.
